SUMMARY
The G5 meet the Child Emperor and Waganma after they destroy the former radio-controlled patrol. It can withstand the attacks of Child Emperor’s Enemy Machine Disabling Device: Bug Kun and quickly destroy it. G5 battles the newly combined Underdog Man, Mad Dog Underdog Cerberus while being held back by the Child Emperor’s bird shots. While G5 fights Mad Dog Underdog Cerberus, Child Emperor and Waganma escape.
They come across Phoenix Man’s dismembered body and Waganma mentions that he knows the costume from a comedy show called “Animal Kingdom”. The character had the ability to revive no matter how he died. As the Child Emperor ponders this information, the Phoenix Man suddenly awakens into a new, stronger form. Child Emperor confronts the monster and uses 5 layers of his transparent foil, but is pierced by Phoenix Man’s Beak Attack. Frustrated at his uselessness, tears stream down his face and the Child Emperor is forced to summon his ultimate weapon, the mecha Brave Giant. However, Phoenix Man correctly deduces that the mecha has a limit, and the Child Emperor is informed of Brave Giant’s activity limit of 2 minutes and 38 seconds. The Child Emperor reaffirms that he must deal with the monster as soon as possible.
