Top Moments from Saitama vs. Genos Rematch

One-Punch Man worked his way through the first steps of a major new arc while a new association of heroes formed on the sidelines, and the latest chapter in the series took things to an exciting new level by teasing a full rematch between Saitama and Genos! After massive changes to the status quo during the events of the fight against the Monster Association, the Hero Association is trying to rebuild its roster. But as we have seen in the chapters so far, there has been a bit of a problem in this regard.

One-Punch Man had previously teased that this new group of heroes was approaching higher-up members of the Hero Association to join the group, and one of them happened to be Genos. The young hero was in the middle of a crisis as he still feels like he’s not improving despite learning from Saitama thanks to the events of the series so far, and this new group made him think about possibly joining. This leads to him wanting revenge on Saitama, but it quickly ends due to Genos’ sense of self-dissatisfaction.

Who will win the rematch Saitama vs. Genos?

Top Moments from Saitama vs. Genos Rematch

One-Punch Man Chapter 184 begins shortly after it was revealed that Genos’ new enhancements made him stronger than ever before, so Genos wanted to challenge Saitama to a new match to test that power. It is then revealed that Genos’ new enhancements have made him physically brighter than before and Saitama reacts by closing his eyes. Genos sees this and refuses to connect his strike despite being the one who wants revenge. Saitama not knowing how to react only makes Genos more self-conscious about his apparent lack of power.

This crisis of faith prompts Genos to reveal that this new group is called “Neo Heroes”, building a force in the shadows with a roster of heroes who have not yet revealed themselves. They approach the high-ranking heroes in the Hero Association, but Genos still worries that he hasn’t grown strong enough to stand up to the cyborg who set him on a path of revenge years ago,This rematch between Saitama and Genos ultimately didn’t happen, but it’s teased that Genos’ feelings of weakness will lead to something much deeper later.
