One-Punch Man is one of the most consistent series in manga. Thanks to artist Yusuke Murata, there is no shortage of superhero hits. Saitama has proven his record time and time again with few breaks stopping him, but even the most stubborn performer needs a break. One-Punch Man therefore announced a last-minute hiatus, so fans can expect Murata to return with a new release next month.The update comes from the artist himself as Murata tweeted to fans about the hiatus. It turns out that the artist has been ill since early May, and his condition has forced him to postpone the next chapter of One-Punch Man until June.
“Thanks for waiting. This week’s One-Punch Man chapter will be postponed. Sorry for the late notice! I have been sick since the beginning of last month, but thanks to your support, I have recovered a lot. I will draw the manuscript again, so please wait a little longer,” the artist shared with fans.As you can imagine, One-Punch Man readers were quick to wish Murat the best, because nothing is more unfortunate than a prolonged illness. The artist seems to be on the mend, so hopefully Murata will be back comfortably at work soon. This delay means that One-Punch Man will not release any new content this month, but in June 2023, Saitama will be complete with a new chapter.
Obviously, this upcoming release is going to be a big one. After all, Murata just kicked off a new arc in a manga that webcomic fans are familiar with. One-Punch Man is finally ready to take on some so-called Neo Heroes, as two characters have just debuted in the manga.If you’re not hooked on One-Punch Man, you can brace yourself for this new arc courtesy of Viz Media.The publisher oversees the release of the manga in English, so you can find the One-Punch Man manga in stores or online through the Shonen Jump app. As for the anime, the first and second seasons of One-Punch Man are currently streaming on Crunchyroll as well as Hulu. Not too long ago, reports confirmed that One-Punch Man Season 3 was happening, but we weren’t told when the big comeback would launch.
