A new One Punch Man video game is in development for PC and mobile. One Punch Man: World is developed by Perfect World, the company behind Tower of Fantasy and PC and mobile Persona 5 spin-off The Phantom X, and published by Crunchyroll Games, the interactive division of the anime specialist. One Punch Man: World is a multiplayer action game based on the One Punch Man anime for PC, iOS and Android with cross-platform gameplay and progression. Expect to see characters and abilities from the anime in video game form, Crunchyroll said.Here’s the setup: “A sinister wave of monster attacks has left Earth’s cities and the Hero Association under duress. However, after three years of special training, Saitama has become so powerful that he can defeat his opponent with a single punch. The thing is, Saitama does heroic things just for fun, but when every enemy goes down in one hit, the overwhelming power can get a little…boring. Now a new enemy will appear in front of the released strongest hero. Will he be able to show his full strength today?”
You’ll unlock and level up anime heroes, including Genos, and enter the Hero Association hub where you’ll meet friends, complete missions, and team up to raid enemies. Combat involves timed dodges, combos, and ultimates. You fight your way through the first season of One Punch Man “punch for punch” and can explore Z-City with side activities and mini-games.Expect a free-to-play launch sometime in 2023, supported by microtransactions. Pre-registration for Windows PC is now open on official websites in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as in Latin America and the Nordics.

According to Crunchyroll Games, the game will focus on an ominous wave of monster attacks that leaves Earth and the Hero Association struggling to cope. In the game, players will be able to unlock and level up a number of popular heroes, explore the Hero Association hub, team up with friends and go on raids and fight against enemies.
